He remained dead for such a long time that everyone assumed he was dead for good. However, Logan’s resurrection in Return of Wolverine made fans hope that there was a lot more of Wolverine yet to be seen. That hope has now paid off, and Wolverine is back. This time his claws are even deadlier than before.
Charles Soule and Steve McNiven are soon going to come out with a five-part miniseries. This is what the series’ writer Soule had to say:
“Wolverine’s body has been missing. The entire Marvel Universe has been looking for him because he’s a very important part of the Super Hero puzzle. And at long last, he will be found. I thought this was a real opportunity to do things that would make him feel new and fresh in a way; if you come back from the dead, it should mean something.

One of the outwardly physical manifestations of that is that now, from time to time, his claws—once they’re popped—they can heat up. They can get really hot.”
These words were accompanied by a cover from Adam Kubert that showed Wolverine’s claws in a fiery red background. So is it actually going to happen? Will we really get to see red hot Adamantium claws on the Wolverine? However, what will power them? Is the heat sourced by the hot adamantium and its effects have started showing up now. Or maybe it is caused by Wolverine’s possession of Soul Stone?
