Michael Lamper From Star Trek The Next Generation Passes Away


The star of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Marina Sirtis had taken to social media and shared some sad news with her fans. Her husband, Michael Lamper, has passed away and he 61 years old. Lamper had been both a guitarist and also an Acamarian Gatherer on The Next Generation in season 3. This news is very shocking to all the fans who had enjoyed her work as the character, Deanna Troi on The Next Generation and her husband’s role in the series. As everyone would have a favorite episode, “The Vengeance Factor” is maybe the one for many of the fans.

The actress had posted on Twitter, “I’m going to be gone for a while. My beloved husband passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. For those of you waiting for a shout out on Cameo, please forgive me I don’t feel up to i. I’ll let you know when the service is back on.”

In the year, 1992, Lamper had gotten married to Sirtis. Michael Dorn and Bret Spiner had been their groomsmen. The couple had met after one of Marina’s friends had introduced her to Lamper. He had then played with many musicians like Quiet Riot, Los Lobos and Tommy Shaw from Stix.
