A few days back Lee had stated that he had written the first real tweet for himself, and a while back, he mentioned that someone had hacked into his other social media and asked fans to help him retrieve his accounts. Now, Lee shared a video thanking his fans for the support.
In the brief video clip, Lee seems to be quite happy as he thanks his fans for the support and lovely comments on Twitter. He is seen telling them that he intends to keep the “great relationship” going. Check out the video below.
“I just want to tell you that I love your comments on Twitter,” Lee said. “I don’t know how much I’ve been missing now that I see them, and I just want you to know I appreciate everything that you say and do. I love you all and let’s keep up this great relationship. Excelsior!”
Considering the various inexplicable and worrying news related to Lee in the last few months, to see him in the video is certainly going to be reassuring for some fans. Apart from his social media problems, news also came about Lee suing POW! Entertainment and its present executives (his former production firm) for $1 billion and it has been alleged that CEO Shane Duffy and Gill Champion misled him into signing legal documents which gave them exclusive rights to his name, photo, and imitation. The lawsuit also accuses Duffy and Champion of forging Lee’s signature.
Not only that, Lee has recently been robbed, faced sexual assault accusations and also been at the center of claims regarding his being the victim of elder abuse, some of it by his own daughter. Lee had also fired his long-time manager and sued Jerardo Olivarez for millions of dollars, saying that he in tandem with others, stole $300,000 from Lee to illegally purchase real estate in his own name. There have been fears about Lee’s physical well-being as well, though, he seems to be in good shape in this video, which is nothing like how he appeared in the video shot at Silicon Valley Comic Con earlier in 2018.
Despite all the turmoil, it is definitely pleasant to see Lee in a jovial state, and we are sure that Lee’s fans are going to stand by his side.
