Although there has not been a formal “production start” announcement from the studio, a few photos of Tom Holland as Peter Parker (who looks as if he has become better after Avengers: Infinity War) on the set of Spider-Man: Far From Home in London have come up online.
Have a look at them below:
It was only recently when the movie’s title was revealed to be Spider-Man: Far From Home, courtesy of a supposed “leak” from the actor. Holland later confirmed the same when he attended a convention panel.
“I just got sent the new script for a film I might do this summer, and I might have accidentally revealed the title of the movie,” Holland said. “It’s called Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
The movie is likely to feature Jake Gyllenhaal as the Spider-Man enemy Mysterio, an expert of illusion. Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige had said in the past that the filming would start in July and also disclosed something that the title suggests too, Spider-Man will travel far in the upcoming film.
“We start filming early July,” Feige said. “We film in London. We shot the first film in Atlanta. And we shoot a lot of films in London, but there’s another reason we’re shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe.”
Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled to release on July 5th, 2019.
Avengers: Infinity War is currently playing in theaters. Future MCU films include Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6th, Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2020.
