Pictures Released From The Fourth Issue Of Mighty Morphin Power Ranger/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

If anyone were ever to ask me whether they should be a comic fan or a movie franchise fan. I would always suggest comics. Because unlike movies comics have the ability to fulfil your long held wishes because maybe their egos are way smaller. Which is actually a very good thing. Did you ever imagine to see Superman and Ironman fight against each other? Did you ever imagine to see Batman and Captain America team up with each other? Well even if you did, let me tell you in very clear words- never going to happen. No matter what you think or believe. But in comics they have actually happened. Comics are a way more easier way to see the amalgamation of your favourite franchises.

And this is exactly what is going to happen in the penultimate issue of BOOM! Studios and IDW Publishing’s five-part crossover limited series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This issue will introduce two all-new teams: the Ninja Rangers and the Turtle Rangers. Both very beloved franchises.

Obviously excitement is very high in both the fandoms. To fan the fire of this excitement and promote the March release of Mighty Morphin Power Ranger/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #4, BOOM! And IDW have released Simone di Meo’s character designs for the Ninja Rangers and the Turtle Rangers. The Ninja Rangers are basically the original Mighty Morphin Power Ranger team of Zack, Kimberly, Jason, Trini and Billy reimagined as ninjas. The original TMNT team is also reimagined as the Power Rangers, with Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo and resident red-headed reporter April O’Neil suiting up as the Black Ranger, Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Blue Ranger and Pink Ranger, respectively. So not only are these worlds converging they are also exchanging roles.

These two teams are both battling against one another while at the same time are also teaming up. The force that they are fighting against is the mega powerful Shredder wielding the power of the Green Ranger.

The series is Written by Ryan Parrott and illustrated by Simone di Meo with a cover by Dan Mora, the penultimate issue goes on sale March 18 from BOOM! Studios and IDW Publishing.
