Oscar’s Memoriam Does Not Include Luke Perry, Sid Haig And Cameron Boyce

This year’s Oscar’s Memoriam was emotional just like every year as it mourned the death of many eminent personalities like Agnes Varda, Alex Claude, Alvin Sargent and Andre Previn. During the Memoriam Billie Eilish performed the song Yesterday. This tribute also included recently passed away stars like Kobe Bryant and Spartcus star Kirk Douglas.

Kobe died in a tragic plane crash and Kirk Douglas, one of the last living actors from the Golden Age of Hollywood, died on February 5th at the age of 103.

But certain people were missing from this touching tribute like Luke Perry, horror actor Sid Haig, and Cameron Boyce, the star of Disney’s Descendents franchise.

Perry died on 4TH March 2019 due to a stroke. At 5 years old he was known for playing the resident bad boy Dylan and Everybody’s dad in Riverdale. Riverdale in its 4th season gave a touching tribute to the actor and declared that from now on every episode will be dedicated to him. BH9210 also dedicated their first episode to the actor. Perry also appeared in Criminal Minds, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Will & Grace, added his voice to The Simpsons and had roles in films including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 8 Seconds. The Fifth Element, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Haig at 80 years old died due to complications of COPD, Aspergillus pneumonia, a small bowel obstruction, and cardiopulmonary arrest. His well-known projects include Captain Spaulding in the Rob Zombie movies House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects and 3 from Hell. His other credits are The Untouchables, Batman, Gunsmoke, Mission: Impossible, Star Trek, Get Smart, Charlie’s Angels, Fantasy Island, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, The Dukes of Hazzard, The A-Team, and MacGyver.

Boyce died at a young age of 20 due to epilepsy. He was known for playing Carlos in The Descendants. His other projects include Eagle Eye, Grown Ups, and Grown Ups 2.
