Netflix Accidentally Reveals The Synopsis Of Their Upcoming Resident Evil Series

Being a streaming service you would expect Netflix to be good in the aspect of their site. I mean updating it should be something they should know from the back of their hand. But it doesn’t seem to be the case at all as now for the second time Netflix has apparently ‘mistakenly’ released the description of one of their most anticipated shows. They did it before for their live action adaptation of manga One Piece and now for the adaptation of Resident Evil.

At least this time Netflix had made an official announcement about this series unlike the last time when fans got the news literally out of the blue. Last year, Netflix had announced that it will undertake a live action adaptation of Resident Evil. But since then there have been absolutely no details. There have been no reports about plot, casting or anything of that sorts.

Until recently of course when Netflix while updating its media centre page mistakenly gave a synopsis of their upcoming show. And when everything came to fore Netflix realised its mistake and pulled the synopsis down. But what once enters the internet never leaves it. And fandoms across the world started sharing receipts of this information among them.

The synopsis of the show revealed the setting of the show to be Clearfield, MD. This place has long been under the influence of the shady Umbrella Corporation, the decommissioned Greenwood Asylum, and Washington D.C., the capital of the United States of America. The story will begin when after twenty six years after the discovery of T- Virus secrets held be these three organisation will start to come to surface.

Apart from this leak there has been no information about the project. But one thing can be assumed by the amount of time that has passed that filming must start very soon after which a lot will be revealed and reported.
