Lucifer Might Return On Netflix

DC fans are extremely passionate about their heroes and that is the truth for them. They exude their passion in ways you can’t even imagine. And therefore it becomes a little frustrating when Marvel overpowers DC. And till now DC just doesn’t seem to get it right.

But on TV it is a whole new ball game. Maybe that is the thing DC characters need space and time to grow which cannot happen in 2 or 3 hours. TV has till now proven to be a gold mine for DC. Everything hey churn out just keeps on working. And if it doesn’t work CW makes it work. Arrow verse has saved so many heroes normal people can’t even fathom. CBS doesn’t want Supergirl no issues they took it: NBC didn’t find success with Constantine they put their spin on it.

Well Lucifer was an exception. It worked on Fox but ratings dipped and the exception was that it was rescued by Netflix. Two years ago when Lucifer was cancelled fans went ballistic and organised campaigns. And as few years have shown us if fans are passionate their size does not matter. We got a whole Veronica Mars movie because of that. And a similar thing happened here. Fans convinced Netflix to give the show another shot and so they did.

Netflix renewed the show for a fourth season and now will stream its final fifth season. But will the fifth season be the final? That is a question everyone has. It has a storehouse of stories which can continue the show for years, if they want. And CW is there and Arrow verse is thriving. Since Tom Ellis made his appearance in Crisis in Infinite Earths fans have increased their hopes. But seems like Netflix will not let go of the series. Reportedly, Netflix is in talks to bring the show for a Sixth season. Though there have been reports but no announcements have been made. But at least we have hope.

Tom Ellis as the Devil, Lauren German as Det. Chloe Decker, D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin, Kevin Alejandro as Det. Dan Espinoza, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen Smith and Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez. Star in the series
