When we came to know that Marvel Studios was going to make a movie based on this comic book character, it was a fascinating thought since we loved the mythology and there is a great charm in fantasy stuff, which is the reason why Game of Thrones is such a popular show on TV.
Typically, you associate long blonde hair and blue eyes with good-looking movie stars and musicians such as Taylor Hanson, but, there was no way one wouldn’t have fallen in love with Tom Hiddleston’s character Loki instead of the God of Thunder played by Chris Hemsworth.
It is not to mean that we don’t love Thor, but, overall, the truth is that Loki is the more appealing of the two characters, maybe because of the fact that he is more relatable than his heroic big brother. You will understand this feeling of being the ‘black sheep’ or a bookworm if you have an elder brother.
The other thing about Loki is that he is not exactly a villain, and just the right guy to be pitted against Thor. It was quite a thing to see him fake his own death in Thor: The Dark World and how he redeemed himself in Thor: Ragnarok.
However, Loki’s narrative in Avengers: Infinity War was truly heart-breaking, and we think that Tom Hiddleston got short-changed.
