Every Marvel fan in this universe agrees that even though Avengers: Endgame was more than amazing. The fact that we lost for maybe forever three of our favourite superheroes broke our hearts into pieces. How could this Marvel Universe continue to exist after this, after losing three of its pillars on which their entire being was placed? And how are we going to manage not seeing three of our favourite actors not don their epic suits anymore. Well for Scarlett Johannsson there is still another go remaining in the widely anticipated Black Widows movie. But what about the other two. Is this it?
Even if it is the end we will forever cherish the time we had seeing them play these iconic characters. And we will root for them for whatever their future holds.
Chris Evans after his turn as the Captain America, has been really picky with his roles choosing characters outside his comfort zone or familiarity. Recently he played the wicked Ransom Drysdale in Knives Out. Now, The Hollywood Reporter brings reports that Evans is going to continue this abusive streak by playing Orin Scrivello, aka “The Dentist,” in the new remake of Little Shop of Horrors.
It was announced in 216 that this new take on the classic Little Shop of Horrors will be directed by Greg Berlanti based on a script from Matthew Robinson for Warner Bros. Slowly and steadily we are getting more and more information regarding this project especially since it was named one of the recipients of California’s Film & Television Tax Credit Program for the fiscal year of 2019-2020.
Obviously to reap the benefits of this credit production needs to start soon. Therefore a lot of names have come up till now in regards to the project. Kingsman and Rocketman star Taron Egerton is in talks to appear in the film as Seymour Krelborn (previously played by Rick Moranis in the 1986 feature adaptation of the musical) with Black Widow and Jojo Rabbit star Scarlett Johansson up for the part of Audrey, Seymour’s love interest and the namesake for the musical’s carnivorous plant. It has also been reported that Pose star Billy Porter has signed on to voice the ever hungry Audrey II in the film.
