This Is The Working Title Of Jurassic World 3. Here’s What’s Happening With The Movie

The third and final movie in the Jurassic World franchise is now entering production stage imminently, and Production Weekly has confirmed that the movie’s working title is “Arcadia.” While this does not reflect anything about any of the events of the movie, it is a reference to the previous movie, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, as “Arcadia” had been the name of the boat that had taken animals from Isla Nublar to Lockwood Manor. In spite of the creativity of the movies, the titles for every installment have been straightforward.

In the year, 2015, Colin Trevorrow, the director, had pulled off an impossible task, which had been reviving the interest in the franchise. Jurassic Park 3 back in 2001 had not been a financial success and had led to a 14-year wait for the movie’s sequel. Trevorrow’s Jurassic World had reminded the audiences of the thrills of seeing a few special effects where dinosaurs have been brought back to life. Making this feat impressive is that it had enlisted an actor from the original movie, BD Wong for reprising his role of the character, Dr. Henry Wu.

While the movie is the third in the Jurassic World trilogy, Trevorrow had revealed that it is Jurassic Park 6.

“We’d have had to come up with a reason why Ellie, Malcolm, and Grant all went to the theme park on the exact same day it broke down – again,” Trevorrow had said.

“The next film allows the legacy characters to be a part of the story in an organic way. Emily Carmichael and I call it ‘Jurassic Park VI’, because it is.”

The filmmaker had then spoken about the difficulty of blending new characters with the legacy ones:

“You start asking the most basic questions: who are these people now? What do they make of the new world they’re living in, and how do they feel about being part of its history?” Trevorrow had said.

“Ultimately, it will be in collaboration with the actors. They know and love these characters. We’ll do it together.”

Jurassic World 3 is currently set to land in theaters on June 11, 2021.
