As the years are passing it seems like past is the way to go has become the mantra for Hollywood Studios as countless movies have been either revived or remade. I mean the powers that be got a remake of Friends to happen. So is anything impossible anymore with so much money and agency involved. No, I don’t think so at all.
But there are certain movies that should remain untouched because they fit perfectly into the symphony of that era. I mean Can we really make Ferris Bueller’s Day Off ever again considering it’s easy going nature was so reflective of the era it was made in.
So is the movie Back to the Future at least according to the present Spiderman Tom Holland. After fans made a video of him and Robert Downey Jr. Inan iconic scene of the Back to the future movie he had been answering non stop about whether he would be up for the remake. Though he is ready for a one shot just to have that experience with Downey. He doesn’t think the revival is a good idea because for him the first movie was something beyond perfect and should be left alone.
But he did reveal some new information that he has been talked about these roles. This means that studios are looking into the remake option though it might be a difficult path to partake in as the original creators have vehemently denied from doing it.
Though he does not want to play Marty McFly Holland considered Thomas a huge inspiration behind his star making role of Spider man. The director of the movie also wanted that effect and therefore asked the cast to watch such iconic movies from the 90s. When a journalist pointed out that he is sort of like Marty McFly in the movie Tom was exceedingly happy with the compliment.
