Get The Han Solo Experience In Disneyland

The happiest place in the world is undoubtedly Disneyland. It brings us closer to the characters that we love and adore so much in our life. Disneyland essentially makes us happy because it reminds us that no matter what happens, what curveball life throws at you. You can defeat anything because you have a place to come back to. Characters you can call your literal home.

Maybe it is these sentiments that make fandoms so passionate about their respective franchises. We love them because of how deeply it affects us. One of the most passionate fandoms in the world has been star wars.

Right from the beginning we fell in love with this universe because of how outwardly yet in our reach it was. We could never imagine ourselves to be in their situation but we could feel their emotions. The fans are so passionate about it that they make sure everything associated with it reaches the heights of glory like no other.

Maybe that is why a theme park inspired by star wars in Disneyland won a Grammy. The ride in question is Galaxy’s edge. You can do many things here because of which this is also one of the most popular locales of this place.

But maybe the most interesting one is the flight in Millennium Falcon which gives the visitors a chance to participate in the Smuggler’s Run “film ride” at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This allows you to be in a mission between Chewbacca, Han Solo’s partner from the Star Wars films, and Hondo Ohnaka, a criminal who’s appeared as an occasional frenemy to the heroes of the animated Star Wars series. But now through a sort of hack that you can turn Hondo off during the ride and get the full Han Solo experience of having Chewbacca Wookie yell at you throughout the entire mission.

To do so you have to follow these instructions

“First and foremost, do not ACTIVATE your position right away like you normally do. Left and right pilots need to push their controls to the extreme left/right or extreme up/down. Once you’ve done that, hit your activation button.

Engineers and Gunners need to hit one of the white buttons on their console before hitting the orange activation button. Kind of like using the shift key on a keyboard.

Finally, be sure you’ve done this BEFORE the cast members finishes checking your seatbelts (pull the yellow thingy) and he hits his ok to go button.

And that’s it. Do it right and chewy will be yelling at you for 5 minutes. Miss a step and you get Hondo and his canisters.”
