The worlds of Game Of Thrones and The Witcher to finally collide!!!

I am pretty sure everyone reading this is a Game of Thrones fan or was a Game Of Thrones fan. Or liked it till a certain point. I mean didn’t everyone in the world pretty much at one point or the other went and hopped on the train of what is called the phenomenon of Game Of Thrones. But now it’s over and has literally left a big hole in the hearts of fans all over the world. To all those miserable fans I would suggest to you – go and give Netflix’s The Witcher a watch. It is about the witcher Geralt, a mutated monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world in which people often prove more wicked than beasts. It is gritty and in one word fantastic and is more than capable of filling that GOT shaped hole in your heart. Tell those HBO folks that you are not totally dependent on their multiple proposed spinoffs which just don’t seem to come for your sanity.

The breakout star of the first season was but obviousthe witcher Geralthimself Henry Cavill. He was simply put majestic in his role and did not disappoint the die-hard fans of the series written by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The other actors in this series include Freya Allan as Cirilla “Ciri”, the crown princess of Cintra, and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vineberg, a quarter-elf sorceress.

But now a special new addition seems to be in the horizon for the show- none other than Kristofer Hivju who played the fan favourite Tormund Giantsbane in Game Of Thrones. This possibility was figured out by Witcher experts Redanian Intelligence who drew their conclusions from an Instagram post by season 2 director Stephen Surjik who is currently scouting locations and used Hivju’s name as a hashtag while posting about the process. The post has now been deleted but the matter of the fact is that Hivju has never worked previously with Surjik. Therefore it is very weird that he was tagged in a Witcher related post.

This has generated considerable excitement among the actor’s fans and we hope that it is true.
