We love when franchise are able to make things come full circle just as Marvel was able to do in Avengers and now it seems like Jurassic Park will be able to do it in a bigger and better way. A lot of people had doubts when the new trilogy was set to be released with new characters since the impact of the first trilogy in itself was very huge so to change that would have been difficult. But the first two films of the new trilogy actually increased the impact as well as stakes for this new world, especially the last movie. The last movie changed the universe in a drastic way. In a manner nobody thought was even possible.
The last movie would be an epic swan song albeit gory but filled with adventure. It will also pack a huge punch of nostalgia as it will feature the return of 1993’s Jurassic Park stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum all returning as their respective character, Ellie Sattler, Alan Grant, and Ian Malcolm. Along with them BD Wong is also expected to be back as Dr. Henry Wu.
But according to Chris Pratt’s new statement to Ellen more characters will come back.
“This feels like (the end). It’s got everybody,” Pratt told Ellen. “It’s got pretty much everybody in it, maybe I just blew it but I don’t care. I know that like all the cast from the original Jurassic Park is coming back and so it’s going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together at Marvel.”
If so, then most probably Richard Attenborough’s John Hammond and his two grandchildren Tim (Joseph Mazzello) and Lex (Ariana Richards) may return as they were the only ones who survived the carnage of the original trilogy. Of them Hammond has been declared dead in the Jurassic Park Universe.
But the makers could surprise us as this world is filled with possibilities.
