While the DCEU is surely the cornerstone of DC Comics, it is the animated universe which may be the crown jewel. Between 1992 and 2006, the DC Animated Universe (DCAU) was the first original shared universe and a part of the comic book lover’s life.
The real animation was fantastic, and the richness of storytelling was unrivaled. One would find so many of these shows listed as top animated series and the Justice League voice casts have recently said that they would be up for a reunion.
