The timing is quite correct because we had seen Black Panther teaser come out in June last year and the film released in February this year. In fact, there was enough of Ant-Man And The Wasp promotional content released even before Avengers: Infinity War rolled out. Therefore, the new report seems to be right as far as the timing is concerned, looking back at Marvel Studio’s past trend. However, there might be some changes regarding the movie’s promotion and the fans might either be surprised or made to wait longer.

As revealed by MCU Cosmic, the Captain Marvel teaser trailer has been lying ready for a while now and is presently making its way through the “Disney marketing machine.” The report claims that it has the knowledge courtesy of sources close to Marvel Studios. Further, there are some who raised doubts about the report since the special effects are not going to be ready as of now. However, the report further says that Marvel Studios prefers wrapping up the special effects as work goes on during the filming stage, rather than waiting to do it all in post-production,

There are a lot of people who expected the teaser to drop at next month’s San Diego Comic-Con, but, Marvel has already announced that they are not going to have a panel there this year. Keeping that in mind, the teaser trailer might be out riding with Ant-Man and The Wasp on July 6th. According to MCU Cosmic, they are looking forward to seeing this Captain Marvel teaser getting unveiled at CineEurope, a movie exhibitor event scheduled to be held in Barcelona early next week.

In case that happens, it will be for only the select few who attend the event. However, it can’t be ruled out that someone might grab a cell phone video and leak it online, just how the Avengers: Infinity War footage shown at D23 Expo and SDCC last year had. Considering everything, our guess is that the Captain Marvelteaser will be out officially on the internet, before Ant-Man and The Wasp hits the theaters.

We don’t rule out this report being fake, but, if we look at the timing, some footage seems to be in order. Marvel Studios is notorious for throwing curveballs so that a surprise teaser trailer might be out soon or to say the least, some official set images. So far, we have seen plenty of leaked images, but, nothing official from Marvel. However, if the report is genuine, we will find out the truth very soon, most likely next week itself.
