Billie Eilish has been having one heck of a year. First she took home five Grammy awards for major categories in the process making a record by becoming the youngest person and first woman to win the four main Grammy categories, Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year in the same year then she was announced as the youngest artist to ever sing a Bond theme song. And now she is appearing in the prestigious Vogue cover for the American edition.
Earlier she appeared on the Magazine’s Australian edition of the Magazine. In the cover she is donning her usual style which she has become uber famous for. The thing about Eilish that makes her so endearing to her avocados aka fans is the unique and outsider vibe she gives. Her fans in the younger age group feels inspired by her success because it gives them the faith that no matter what you are, how out of the normal loop you feel, you can achieve whatever you want if you are passionate about it.
The Lovely singer herself said that from a young age she knew that her fashion sense was anything but normal, but she still wore it because she felt extremely comfortable with it. She was happy in it.
In the issue Eilish is wearing oversized silhouettes which has become her brand. There was a Valentino haute couture look covered in embroidered flowers. She also discusses her swift rise to fame and also her mental health.
The issue was created by photographers Harley Weir, Ethan James Green, Hassan Hajjaj and illustrator Nastya Kovtun. Other creatives like conceptual artist Xu Zhen and painter Kaylee Yang contributed imagery for the inside of the magazine.
