An Epic Lightsaber Battle To Come In The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian has been a breakout hit for everyonr involved. It was highly appreciated by the fandom who though supported the sequel trilogy but were highly disillusioned by it after a point. Disney finally got it right with the fandom and were able to create a show that truly touched the hearts of the fans. They also got a great vehicle to open their streaming service on and got great returns from it. The series was well received throughout mainly because of the content and the atmosphere it contained and obviously the great performance by Pedro Pascal.

Its success has accelerated work on other Star Wars related projects like The Obi Wan Kenobi sequel as well as Clone wars. Fans have more expectation and Disney desperately wants to prove them right. The storyline of this season was great and got an epic conclusion in the form of the reveal that Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) was in possession of the Darksaber.

As we all know Lightsaber is a huge and fan favourite property of Star Wars. People adore it and wait with their bated breaths to see their favourite characters fight with these weapons. This reveal indicates that we might see an epic battle with it in the next season.

When asked, Giancarlo Esposito responded excitedly about how the prop department is in hustle mode right now. He also confirmed that such a battle will probably come up in the highly anticipated second season. Though he did not reveal the recipient of it.

On the fact that fans think it will be Baby Yoda, Esposito laughed it off saying that though the baby is intrigued it might not go to such an extent with him.

The Mandalorian has stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte in leading roles. The entire first season is available to stream on Disney+. Season 2 will premiere in October.
