The Sith in the Star Wars universe is a sect of Force-sensitive people who gain abilities from the ‘Dark Side of the Force’. According to Yoda, Dark Side is not at all stronger, but it is much “easier” and much “more seductive.” It promises great abilities by succumbing to emotions, and this has been the downfall for many unfortunate Jedis.
The Sith always believe that conflict is the only and crucial seed of evolution, and through destruction, the growth and development of individuals will take place. This opposes the beliefs of the Jedi Order which focus on serenity and harmony and also concepts that Sith does nothing and only promote cultural decline and stagnation. The major difference between the capabilities of the Sith and the Jedi boils down to morality.
