An overweight comedian who was probably always going to be known as a funny guy shattered the wall by losing 60 pounds and playing Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy. Gal Gadot wanted to become a choreographer as a child. She went on to win a beauty pageant and entered modeling, before a stint with the military for two years. During her law and international relations studies at the University, she was approached by the casting director of Quantum of Solace. According to Gadot, ”I thought I was too serious and smart to be an actress.”

Emma Stone is an actress who was initially always getting the roles of the cute girl that everyone wanted to date.
