A few days ago, this five-season FOX comedy series was scrapped by the network, and that led to a flurry of support from series’ fans who wanted the show to be aired by some other network or streaming platform. Among those fans happened to be the iconic Luke Skywalker aka Mark Hamill.

After the series got canceled, Hamill shared the following on Twitter:

Soon enough, in fact, only a day later, NBC gave Brooklyn Nine-Nine a 13 episode Season Six. It was obvious for Crews to be delighted by the development and he personally thanked Hamill on Twitter, giving the star credit for using The Force’s might to revive the popular comedy series.

Dan Goor and Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation) created Brooklyn Nine-Nine in 2013 and the series stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Chelsea Peretti, Joe Lo Truglio, Terry Crews, Dirk Blocker, and Joel McKinnon Miller.
